Is it possible to create a custom module where I could implement ads? Like eBay, adsense etc?

I'd just like to be able to have ads relative to a game right next to the actual game review.

There is a tutorial on creating an adsense module for GARS here, Im pretty sure its working fine though I think one user was saying they were having problems getting it to work consistantly on forumdisplay.

I cant really test or confirm since I dont use adsense. I dont know of any logical reason why it wouldnt work though. Its pretty standard stuff I thought.
