GAL for whole sites, not just for vBulletin?

I've been searching for ages for something like GAL not for my forum, but for my whole site. I know there are some scripts out there that will do this, but I haven't been able to find any I like.

Any chance of making GAL a stand-alone product? I.e., so that it could parse all pages on a server? Or would that be too difficult to do? (I'm not a programmer, alas. :( )

It would take some re-working simply because so many whistles and bells now rely on vB (i.e usergroup functionality).

You can use it anywhere on your site as long as vb's global.php is included somewhere in the mix ;)
