Links disappear after first refresh?

Hi there,

I have moved my forum to a new host, and upped to 3.6.9 and a new problem has appeared.

When I enter a post the item autolinks, until the page is refreshed, at which point it will not autolink at all.

I had this problem with the lite version which was why I upgraded... how can I fix it now please?

it seems to be the same issue, moved server, and added 3.6.9 - what I havent done however is imported the GAL settings... what I did was:

FRESH install of 3.6.9
imported old posts by IMPEX
reinstalled the GAL addon
created totally new entries

now as mentioned in post 1 it just links on the first display of the thread, and upon refresh the links disappear... please help :)

right, sorted it out, it was partly down to the CSS being in the wrong place, and partly down to permissions.

incidently I got a really weird error where it was replacing every space with three links, but I removed some keywords and now everything seems fine...

HOWEVER - Im having some issues (I think) with the STATS, how often should they update?

The weird error might have been caused by one of the since removed keywords accidentally ending in a comma. As to the stats, views and hits get counted when a thread with an auto-link is shown and when an auto-link in a thread is clicked, respectively. The stats related cron to deactivate/condense runs once a day, though you can run an option from the ACP -> GAL -> Maintenance section if you want to deactivate/condense more often.

just to clarify - entries with multiple keywords, should I have "keyword , keyword" or "keyword,keyword" ??

Use keyword1,keyword2,key word3,keyword4,keyword5 where space is only used to separate two words in the same keyword.
