One of the things that bugged me after purchasing was that the information page for GAL (http://www.thevbgeek.com/geeker.php?do=displayproduct&id=5) says that no template changes are needed but upon installation it turns out that changes are needed for the div tag and the JS insertion. For the site that I originally intended to use GAL on I have several different styles (see sig ;) ) but couldn't change any of them for custom hacks so I needed an alternate solution.

After some experimenting I *think* the attached plugin will do the job of eliminating the template changes. What it does is it inserts both the div tag and the JS insertion above $spacer_open in the header template. So far it's working on one of my sites that has both a parent & child styles and both styles appear to be working fine.

Wow - I must have totally missed that no template change thing. I dont know what the hell I was thinking there.

Anyway, Ill take a look at it. It would definatly make for a better system! Template edits are todays file changes ;)

Thanks!

Geek,

Before I pick up another license should I hold off for those template changes? :)

Thanks againI meant this part....
Template edits are todays file changes ;)If you've got something in the works I'd prefer to not hack up the files if a new release is in the pipeline.
