upgrading from GAS [Archive]

sorry if this is posted somewhere.

I am using 3.07 and GAS now, got lots of articles in there and was wondering if I goto 3.5 and GARS, is there an easy way to import my GAS articles and comments into GARS?

All your articles are stored as regular topics in your database. After upgrading your board when you install Gars and defined the type to your article forum you'll have your articles back.

mm so the same structure with all the comments are there? thats very cool.

yea, however im not 100% sure if the header images and synopsis fields will port over. Id have to look back through the code. Ill let you know tonight.

Regardless, attachments, comments, etc... will still be there as they are only threads and posts.
