Mysterious line of code in GARS_edit

I just stumbled upon the following commented line of code in my GARS_edit template.

<!-- yoooooo $show[vb36] -->Can you please tell me, if this is part of your original code? I've never seen such a line before and it looks like an evil hack or something. :(
