I don't see this so it probably not an option, thought I ask any way.

Can you set what ads you like for each user group to see. So like the more post count a user has they can see less ads or different.

I think the way it is, all ads per usergroup or none at all, is that the only way it works?

Youre correct - either a usergroup sees the category or not. You can also make it so members of a particular usergroup can toggle the ads on or off if that helps :)

If the text ads worked through gab then I was thinking for users with under 1,000 post see the text ads and user with over 1,000 only see the banner ads.

Thanks again.

Yes you can do this, you just use the vb settings to promote users to a new usergroup once they get 1000 posts, then with that usergroup you would change the GAB settings to suit your needs.

There is no setting in Gab for this that i see.

Here is an example, Say I want users with 500 post and up to see a banner ad in the header.

Now for user with less then 500 post I want them to see the header banner and a footer banner.

I only see settings in gab to select Usergroups that view all ads or none at all.

Horns excellent suggestion should work.

Set the footer banner to show to both usergroups (i.e. registered and promo group).
Set the footer banner to be in a category where the promo group can optionally disable the ad by having a custom field be blank (just create a new hidden custom field).
Set up the promo group so after x amount of posts, they go into that group.

Hope that make sense :)

I need the possibility, not to show recent banners for my guests (not registered people)

it means, some banners should be showing for registered users only.

please tell me, how i can do that, because i don´t see any options for it

thank you

best regards

You can accomplish this by using categories (as they can be restricted to usergroups). Then simply set up your billboards to pull from categories accordingly.

Sorry, but you can currently only set usergroups to toggle on/off the ads. You cant target ads specifically at usergroups.
