Howto make a contents block

On this http://www.thevbgeek.com/showthread.php?t=100&garpg=1 page there is a contents block on the right side. How can i make this work on my site. I think it is a module but witch one and how to make it happen.

Based on the link you posted:
You would need to add the "Table of contents module" in the SHOWthread Modules dialog box, while adding or editing a "Type" for your GARS enabled forum.

You also need to add a "[BREAK]" without the quotation marks wherever you want the page to span (next page).
Without the "[BREAK]" that leads to more pages, your table of contents module will not show up. (Because there are no contents for it to list.)

If you work thru the GARS tutorial here (http://www.thevbgeek.com/showthread.php?t=100&garpg=5) a couple of times it will become clearer!
