How do I get a preview of the article to appear on forumdisplay? I have the character limit at 500 for the synopsis.... nothing i do shows.

Do you have the latest version installed? Also, do you have the 'show preview' option ticked in the type settings?

Thanks that is what I needed. However is it suppose to show a different amount of preview text for each article?

This could be a similar problem as you are having with GAL by using the APC for the datastore or it could be a result of a bug that is fixed in 2.0.1 out tomorrow.

Can you check to make sure that in GARS settings you have the Cache Settings option set to yes as well as making sure that geek/gars/cache and all its subfolders are chmodded to 0777?
