Forumdisplay as normal vB display

Is it possible in present version that forumdisplay template usage is like normal display i.e. without GARS rendered forumdisplay template and yet clicking the thread produces GARS rendered showthread template?

Yea, just change the type threadbit value from GARS_threadbit to threadbit
