Yes, you can use the custom fields in GARS 2 for those fields.

You need to create the custom fields, edit the types you want to assign them to. Then you need a odule or something to display them in.
GARS comes with a custom fields module that will show them. Add it to your module set, then edit its settings to tick which custom fields you want to display.
