Has anybody encountered an error like this before...Problem Report
There was a communication problem.
I've got my PayPal handler email set to my sandbox account, my token set to my sandbox PDT token account, and I haven't changed any other values yet (such as renaming any of the script files, etc.).

Thoughts? :)

That could be caused from PayPal's end as I haven't had that issue at all.

HHm.... it goes to the Processing Transaction page and then it appears to error out after that. Either of you guys do any test transactions today?

I did one yesterday and all went well.

Try reinstalling the product file see if that doesn't fix the problem.

Try reinstalling the product file see if that doesn't fix the problem.The problem is with the communications with the PP sandbox URL, re-importing the XML can't fix that. I need to read up more on the various PP docs to see what I've got configured wrong.

Can you try switching it to the live PP and see if it errors out? I have had intermitten problems with sandbox before
