Ability to use GAL in Calendar event details?

I'd love to have GAL parse the text in the detail/description of the calendar event. I have a lot of technical conferences listed on my calendar and there are a LOT of GAL items in these descriptions... It would be awesome if I could have GAL parse the event description. :)

hey there, this has been asked before but I havent really looked into it too much yet. It CAN be done, you just need to find the right text and variable for GAL. Here is an example of how to use gal to parse ANY text:
